A snowmobile state trail sticker is required for ALL snowmobiles operating on state or grant-in-aid trails. This sticker is valid from November 1 until April 30 and costs $16. A three year sticker may be purchased, but must be done so at the time of renewing your three year state registration.

The staff at Lossing's Cat Shack has begun a partnership with the Babbitt ATV and Snowmobile Club to help make area snowmobile and ATV trails the best in the region. Through cooperative efforts by local community leaders, businesses, the Minnesota DNR, US Forest Service, and local motorsports enthusiasts, the Babbitt area is quickly becoming a premiere riding destination.
